Finnish and Swedish - Now Available

Welcome back! So far, we have five languages and now, here are two more of them. These dubs are even more obscure and hard to find than the previous ones featured. Today, we have Finnish and Swedish, with only a small amount of media to cover.

Finnish VHS

Swedish VHS

The home media releases for both Finnish and Swedish are practically identical to one another. The only episode to be dubbed was Ep. 6, “Little Fireman.” While the contents of the Finnish dub have not surfaced online besides the VHS cover art, we are fortunate to have the Swedish dub up on YouTube.

The single episode retains the English opening and closing sequences, with English lyrics instead of translated ones. Mark Mercury's score is here once again. Upon watching the Fables of the Green Forest episode, many of the voices sound amateur, especially for the voice of Chatterer the Squirrel near the beginning. Quite amusing to listen to.

Just like other countries, it is unknown if Finnish or Swedish had any more dubbed episodes. By speculation, we could assume that the Finnish tape also has an untouched English opening and closing.

I've decided to change the span in-between posts, in order to give time within new content. Please share this blog and the Fellers' Frontier website to those you know! It'll definitely help spread awareness of the Little Lulu anime and to save lost media.

Which language do you have the most interest in? See you in three weeks!
